The short version

  • Social runs on your Mac. Jirazo Labs doesn't operate a server that receives your accounts, posts, analytics or text messages.
  • The app connects only to services you choose to connect, using your own keys and logins.
  • Text messages are read, never sent, and are not saved to disk.
  • We don't sell data, show ads, or put analytics or tracking in the app or on this site.

1. Who we are

Social is a desktop app made by Jirazo Labs ("Jirazo Labs", "we", "us"), a company registered in Wyoming, USA. This policy covers the Social app for macOS and this website, social.jirazolabs.com. If you have questions, email sid@jirazolabs.com.

2. What the app keeps on your Mac

Social stores its working data locally, in ~/Library/Application Support/free-socials-manager. The sensitive files there are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a key kept in your macOS login Keychain under the name "Social Data Key". That data includes:

  • API keys for the posting workspaces you add in Settings.
  • SMS number access tokens for the phone numbers you connect.
  • Brand settings: brand names and which accounts belong to each.
  • Browser profiles: the list of accounts on the Browser page. Each account's cookies and logins are stored by the app's built-in browser in its own separate profile, the same way a regular browser keeps them.
  • Assistant history, if you use the assistant: your conversations and any images it generated for you.

Account lists, analytics, posts and text messages are fetched when you open the app and held in memory. They are not written to disk by Social.

Images you clean on the Clean images page are processed on your Mac and never uploaded.

3. Services the app connects to

Social does its job by talking directly to services you connect. Each one receives only what it needs to do the thing you asked for, and each handles that data under its own privacy policy.

ServiceWhenWhat it receives
Your posting workspace (Zernio)When you post, schedule, view analytics or add an accountYour API key, post text, photos and videos you attach, schedule times, and requests for your accounts' posts and statistics.
Your SMS providerWhen you open the Phone page or ask the assistant for a codeYour number's access token and requests to read its message history.
Social networks (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and others)When you use the Browser pageWhatever you do on their sites, exactly as if you used a normal browser. You sign in to them directly; Social doesn't see your passwords.
Anthropic (Claude)Only if you use the assistantYour messages to the assistant, and the information it reads to answer you, such as account names, posts, statistics, or a text message you asked it to find. It runs under your own Claude account.
OpenAI (Codex)Only if you ask the assistant to generate an imageThe image prompt. It runs under your own ChatGPT account.

We don't control these services. Please read their privacy policies before connecting them.

4. Phone numbers and text messages

  • Social only reads messages on numbers you connect and are entitled to use. It does not send SMS.
  • Messages travel from your SMS provider directly to the app on your Mac, are shown to you, and are discarded from memory when you close the app.
  • Jirazo Labs does not receive, store or read your messages or phone numbers.
  • No mobile information, including phone numbers, message content or opt-in data, is shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data from social platforms

When you connect an Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, LinkedIn or Facebook account, Social uses the data it gets (profile name, follower counts, posts and their statistics) only to show it to you and to publish what you ask it to publish. It is not sold, used for advertising, or combined with data about other people. You can disconnect an account at any time from your posting workspace, or by removing the workspace key in Settings.

6. What Jirazo Labs collects

From the app: nothing. Social contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking code, and it doesn't send data to Jirazo Labs.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you and keep it only as long as the conversation needs it.

7. This website

social.jirazolabs.com is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It's hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver and protect the site. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser fetches them.

8. Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your Mac and with services you control, you can remove all of it yourself:

  • Remove workspace keys in Settings, and disconnect numbers on the Phone page.
  • Sign out of accounts from the ⋯ menu on the Browser page.
  • To remove everything, quit Social, delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/free-socials-manager, and delete the "Social Data Key" item in Keychain Access.
  • Data held by a connected service (for example posts uploaded to your posting workspace) is deleted through that service.

To delete anything you've emailed us, write to sid@jirazolabs.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.

9. Security

Local files are encrypted with a key that never leaves your Keychain, API keys are never sent to web pages inside the app, and each social account's browser session is kept separate. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your Mac's login password strong and your system up to date.

10. Children

Social is a business tool and isn't intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data about you, and to object to how it's used. For data in the app, you can do all of this directly on your Mac. For anything Jirazo Labs holds (in practice, emails you've sent us), contact us and we'll respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how Social handles data, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top before the change takes effect.
